Rohingya women that fled ten days earlier from their village north of Maungdaw in Myanmar. One of the women gave birth to twins while escapting through the jungle. Their husbands have been killed during the military security operations ongoing since October in northern Rakhine near the border with Bangladesh. The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) was founded in Nagoya, Japan, in 2009 as a research organisation, conference organiser and publisher dedicated to encouraging interdisciplinary discussion, facilitating intercultural awareness and promoting international exchange, principally through educational interaction and academic research.
